Join us for the 14th Annual CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer on Saturday, November 7 in Hampton!
CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer brings together friends, teams, and the Hampton Roads community for a full day of kickball, grass volleyball, cornhole, fundraising, and celebration at Briarfield Park.
Choose from two kickball formats, our inaugural co-ed grass volleyball tournament, or our co-ed cornhole tournament. Whether you want the traditional kickball tournament experience, a laid-back few games with friends, a full day of volleyball, or a cornhole tournament, there’s a way to be part of it.
Proceeds from CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer, along with funds raised through the Kick Cancer Challenge, benefit the Sentara Brock Cancer Center.
Grab your team, rally your friends, and join us for one of our favorite days of the year while helping make a difference for people facing cancer in Hampton Roads.

THE MERRITT CUP

Our traditional CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer kickball tournament for intermediate and advanced teams who want a full day of great games and the classic tournament experience.
Teams play a minimum of three pool-play games before the top qualifiers advance to a single-elimination playoff bracket and compete for the Merritt Cup.
Best for: Teams looking for the full kickball tournament experience.
RECESS KICKBALL

A fun-first kickball division for teams looking for a laid-back day of games, friends, and fundraising.
Teams play three scheduled games with no playoff bracket, making Recess a great fit for casual teams, coworkers, newer players, and friend groups.
Best for: Teams looking for a relaxed, social day on the field.
6v6 CO-ED GRASS VOLLEYBALL

New for 2026, grass volleyball joins CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer with a full one-day 6v6 co-ed tournament.
Teams play a minimum of three pool-play matches before qualifying teams advance to a single-elimination playoff bracket. Captains can bring a full team, while free agents and small groups are welcome too.
Best for: Volleyball players ready to bring their crew together for a new tournament experience.
CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT

Grab a partner or a few friends and join our co-ed cornhole tournament for a full day of bags, friends, and fundraising.
Teams play four guaranteed pool-play matches before the top finishers advance to a single-elimination playoff. All skill levels are welcome.
Best for: Cornhole players looking for plenty of games and a fun tournament atmosphere.
Whichever format you choose, you’ll be part of the same CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer community, raising funds, having fun, and supporting an important local cause.
THE KICK CANCER CHALLENGE
The Kick Cancer Challenge has been extended to our rescheduled event on November 7! There’s more to CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer than the games.
Participants can create a personal fundraising page, invite teammates to join their fundraising team, and rally friends, family, and coworkers behind the cause.
The top fundraising team will receive the CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer Fundraising Championship Belt and a sponsor prize pack.
The individual who raises the most will receive a free year of CLUBWAKA memberships, valid for up to four seasons.

The Sentara Brock Cancer Center brings cancer care, treatment, education, research, and patient resources together in one place for patients and families throughout Hampton Roads.
