Gear up for an interstellar showdown at the Bags & Brews Charity Cornhole Tournament, hosted by CLUBWAKA on the legendary day of May the 4th at Tradition Brewing in Newport News. This isn’t just any cornhole tournament; it’s a galaxy-wide call to arms (and bags) for competitors of all skill levels—whether you’re as precise as a Stormtrooper (which isn’t saying much, we know) or as experienced as Yoda.
Join forces with fellow rebels and imperials alike in Competitive or Recreational divisions, and may the force of your toss be with you. You’ll not only have the chance to claim victory in epic cornhole games but also support the noble cause of Here for the Girls, Inc., aiding those in their own battle against breast cancer.
Registration includes guaranteed gameplay that’s more thrilling than a podrace, a beer ticket to quench your thirst like you’ve just trekked through Tatooine, and more. Plus, with $1 off additional brews, your spirits will soar higher than the Millennium Falcon on a good day.
This day promises entertainment, food trucks, and raffles that are all more exciting than the Ewok celebration on Endor. So, ready your bags, and may the scores be ever in your favor. This is the cornhole tournament you’re looking for!
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
- Two Skill Level Divisions: Competitive & Recreational
- RECREATIONAL: 4 person coed teams (2 males and 2 women). Players will take turns rotating by game.
- COMPETITIVE: 2 person coed teams (1 male & 1 female).
- Each team will compete in 3 pool play matches. Each match consists of best 2 out of 3 games. First two games to 21 third game will be to 15. Following the pool play round, the top teams will advance to a single elimination tournament to determine the champions.
- All participants must be 21+.

ABOUT THE CAUSE
Here for the Girls, Inc. (H4TG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit improving the lives of young women affected by breast cancer (diagnosed under age 51). They offer social-emotional support through services that provide personal connections and a shared experience among their members. Their research-based support model focuses on the overall well-being of members and delivers services through a non-clinical, peer-based approach. The result is an inclusive community based on equity and cultural humility that cultivates a sense of belonging from diagnosis, through treatment, and beyond.
