Recreational - If you're looking to stay active & meet new friends: here's where you should play!

Intermediate - You have experience playing the sport with a strong understanding of strategy and are looking to step up your game.

Competitive - You want to take home the bobblehead! You have a lot of experience (maybe even played at the college level) and are looking to play at a high level.

Leagues - Each week you'll play 1 game on the day listed for the league. Your game time will fall within the time range specified on the league page. At least 48 hours prior to the start of your league, you'll receive your schedule. Try to select a day you have open availability!

Join the most fun coed beach volleyball league in Hampton Roads! Every Thursday CLUBWAKA members play & party at Paradise Ocean Club on Ft. Monroe. Enjoy awesome coed volleyball action right on the beach with our fantastic community. 

  • Format is 4 vs. 4 (2 males / 2 females)
  • Each match consists of 3 games
  • The team roster is 6 players min (3 of each gender) 
  • All league members will receive access to the beach club on game nights with no cover. 
  • Don't have a full team?  No worries. You can sign up with a team, a small friend group, or a free agent.  We will place you or your group on an existing team that needs players. CLUBWAKA Volleyball is a great way to get your friends and co-workers together or to just meet new people!
  • Regular season games are Thursday evenings at 6:30 and 7:20 PM 
  • Whether you're a casual player or a seasoned pro, you'll be at home in our fun league. We have two divisions - Casual & Competitive
  • The End of season Tournaments are on the weekend of August 28/29th (Details Coming Soon) 

Game / On Court Rules

  • Maximum of 4 players on the court per team per game (4 vs. 4)
  • Must have at least 2 players of each gender on the court for an official game
  • We will use standard rotating rules, so if you have more than 4 people who show on any given night, they will just rotate in after each side-out.
  • Games to 21 pts. (games 1-2) 15 pts (game 3).  Matches will consist of 3 games.
